Our gluten free soap is made by seasoned health enthusiasts who believe in being good stewards of what God has provided and have no desire to harm the environment, mistreat animals or waste resources.

We are dedicated to honesty and integrity in the marketplace and to faithfully providing our valuable customers with exceptional handcrafted olive, coconut and palm oil soap at reasonable prices and exclusively made from nutrient-dense certified organic, unrefined, virgin and fair trade oils and butters.

We also have compassion for those with multiple sensitivities. No gluten, dairy, soy, oats, corn, eggs and artificial fragrances or dyes are used in our cold process soap recipes and our equipment remains firmly dedicated to the same.

Practicality House has been an extended family business in rural Iowa creating genuine superfatted Soapcakes by hand since 1982. We are blessed to have the eclectic talents of experienced senior citizens, energetic young people and enthusiastic in-betweens.
